I especially like your references to multiple sources such as: Bandler, Erickson, Craig, Banyan, Kein, Cleary, and the various health and medical resources. Some seem to think that there is one way or method and my preference is to learn from as many talented people like you as possible.

When can we expect additional books and DVD's???

I'm curious, from the universe of knowledge you have in your areas of interest, if you had to temporarily limit yourself and state which finite set of books, people, and/or information products had the most profound impact on you and your passion for this work, how would you respond?

Hi everybody - I haven't finished it yet, because I'm going over it with a fine-tooth comb, but I have already used one of the marvelous techniques  from it with a client on the same day I received it, with great  success.  Remember Melissa Tiers was going to come here and teach all of  her favorite tricks?  Well, all of those favorite tricks are on this one,  goody filled (didn't want to say jam-packed 'cause it is over-used!)  DVD.  She's probably going to be mad at me for telling you this because  she's so modest, but I swear to God, if you don't have this Advanced  Integrative Hypnosis DVD, you will miss out, big time.  I think it's like  two and-a half hours of tool after tool after tool with lots of resources  thrown in.

She's really got a winner.

p.s. a special note to Melissa's students - you are the luckiest people in the world.  I have never seen better training anywhere, ever, from any hypnosis videos, dvds, classes, workshops, trainings, conferences,  books.  And I have been on this road since 1993, so I've seen a lot.  Count  your blessings!  Your teacher knows her stuff!

I want you to know that I used some of your protocol for pain relief.  I did not do any EFT, although I suggested he learn it.  He did great during the hypnosis session.  I added some direct suggestions and a few other techniques that I have successfully used to relieve pain.  I want you to know that it was amazing.  When he got up from the chair he stood up straighter than I have ever seen him and stayed standing up straighter for a few hours.  Soon after the session, we were sitting and talking when he began to tell a story we all had heard before, regarding the death of his father.  He started crying!  My husband had never seen his father cry!   He went into his bedroom and I followed to help him release the 45 years of guilt he felt from not visiting his father the day before he died.  He released.  He cried. We reframed the event until he said, “I never looked at it that way!”  I also did a little NLP with him. 

We saw him a few days later.  He reported sleeping comfortably for the first time in over 20 years.  In the past, every time he turned, the pain would wake him up.  I believe Dr. Sarno’s work played a huge role in his healing.  I suggested he purchase Mind/Body Prescription.  And I am going to purchase it as well.  Thanks again for your brilliant work.  Feel free to use this testimonial.  I am impressed.  Take Care, Randi Light.

I cannot believe it, I received your wonderful DVD this morning, and already I memorizing the arm catalepsy as it looks so great.  I nearly always use the Elman or a variation as it is so effective, but this one looks so efficient.

Practiced with my Wife just now who is an awful subject and requires 7+2 or similar confusion technique inductions, but although I got some of it wrong she had her eyes almost closed before she started here usual resistant laughing!  She then proceeded to teach me what I was doing wrong after seeing your DVD.  She told me not to crush her wrist - just a light touch :-)

Also I had a great feeling of Erickson as I listened to your voice saying "that's right"   That phrase is one I use all the time but your voice sort of matched perfectly the voice in his famous old video where he does the arm levitation with a woman in his office.

I have Rosen's "My voice will go with you"  If you remember the story in it where Milton was working with a lady with a sexual fear he used the phrase "You can take a vicious pleasure"  I actually used that with a client and she immediately changed her outlook on her relationship! Next time I saw here she was on cloud nine and told me she was hoping to have a fourth child!

Your conscious/unconscious voice change - that is a great technique, so simple and yet it had never occurred to me.

I can't thank you enough for making the DVD and providing your experience and skills to everyone.  You truly are an excellent teacher,  I just wish I had been in NY when I decide to begin training.

...KICKED ASS!!!   - but that was a given.

Had I only learned the information, I would have gotten my money's worth.

Had I only met the people, I would have been bettered greatly by the
experience.

Had I only had the hands-on experience, I would have grown in confidence
and capability as a hypnotist.

Had I only gotten the break-throughs in my own healing, it would have been
a truly remarkable gift.

Had I only had deep personal experiences with energy work that broke past
my limiting beliefs and understandings, I would have been changed forever

Read together, it sounds a bit over the top, but each line is absolutely
true. I am no good at math, but I believe that, in total, it adds up to

IMHO, Melissa Tiers in New York City. I have spent hours and  hours and hours - maybe WEEKS! on the phone with this woman, and she  knows her stuff more than anybody else I know. And she is never  static. She is always learning and growing and teaching what she  learns immediately after she has learned it. I have never met  anybody more dedicated to her craft, and to teaching her craft. She  is fun, she is irreverent, she is warm, loving, and generous (can you  tell I like her ; - )??? That is why I'm sponsoring her workshop  here on the West Coast.

Honestly folks, if you were entertaining the idea of seeing Melissa  in action, and learning and whole hell of a lot of useful tools in  one short weekend, you have a chance. It'll be a doozy. No, a  WHOPPER!

Ah ha, so you want to know about Ms. Tiers.

There really isn't enough to say about Melissa. I could go on and on and on...I'm a newbie at this hypno everything, yet, I've been in academia for a couple graduate degrees, and therefore, an expert on pedagogy and standards of teaching practice. Melissa is among the finest, most effective teachers I've ever had - - I feel lucky that I've been able to take her classes and seek her counsel/mentoring the past year. I have learned so much, grown as an individual and a practitioner, and have expanded my practice because of the work she shared with me. I highly recommend that if anyone has the opportunity to learn in an intimate setting with her to DO IT!! I trust that very soon, this won't be as easy as I suspect that she'll become quickly known as the superstar that she is....She is comprehensive, consummate and passionate as a teacher, while generous with her expertise. Plus she is fun as hell and invested in her clients understanding the material, so that they themselves can help other people AND develop themselves.
