KIDS NEED OUR HELP!
There’s a worldwide shortage of mental health professionals devoted to helping children.
I aim to do my part to fix that.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to creatively interact, play, teach and help kids with just about any issue that might show up in your office. I promise to make this fun for you so that you open up your practice to the people that need you the most.
Every child you help is a life changed for decades to come.
How many times have you sat in session with an adult who had been traumatized as a child?
Change is easiest to achieve before problems are practiced enough to become lifelong patterns.
Think about this: kids are powerless over some of the most basic aspects of their life. What they can and can't do, eat, or say are just some of the rights we adults take for granted. Research indicates that chronic stress, and the various illnesses that accompany it, is directly related to how much control a person has over their day-to-day situations. When agency is taken away, even the brain changes to reflect that.
Empowering kids is crucial. A little bit of power goes a really long way with young people. It teaches them that even though they can't control a lot in their lives, they can control how they feel in any given situation. This has the potential to change everything.
Anxiety shows up in almost all childhood issues. It's a direct response to the need for certainty in an unpredictable world. Come and learn how to help kids (and grown ups) make friends with uncertainty.
Some of what you’ll learn:
How to arm kids with rapid fun tools to change their emotional state.
Kid friendly self hypnotic techniques.
How to neutralize triggers and condition in how they want to feel instead.
Learn to take the focus they have with video games and transfer it to school work.
Fear busting tricks.
Confidence builders.
And ways to create super powers that they can bring to any situation they need.
Ways to teach parents how to help their kids
Sound like fun? Trust me when I say there is nothing as fun as playing for change.
The class is August 24th, 1:00-6:00pm EST with a few practice sessions for those in different time zones. (September 2nd, 1-2pm (ET) and September 4th, 8-9pm (ET))
This workshop would normally cost much more but I’m keeping it low to help more kids and inspire you to donate to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
